Description/Directions: Agni means fire in Sanskrit. A churna is a powdered preparation. Agni Churna is a blend of spices used to enhance one's digestive fire. It promotes appetite, digestion, absorption and assimilation while gently detoxifying the digestive tract. Suitable for all doshas.
Add Agni Churna to sauces, soups, vegetables and rice dishes. It also tastes great on popcorn and snacks. Another way to use it: take 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of Agni Churna (mix it with hot water to make a tea or put it directly on the tongue and wash it down with warm water) 15 minutes before a meal to enhance the strength of digestive fire--particularly useful for high vata, high kapha and ama conditions.
